Many in-person support groups are closed due to COVID-19. However, there are still a number of online groups meeting. For more information go to Hearing Voices USA
Hearing Voices Groups are self-help, social groups not psychotherapy or “treatment” groups. They are stigma-free groups to share experiences, insights and strategies, and to improve quality of life for voice hearers. Click here to read the Hearing Voices USA Charter & to find out what a group entails. You can read a nice description of groups here.
Hearing Voices Network NYC does not control/monitor these groups in any way, groups are created by people in the community and then listed on the website as a means of organzing them.
Are you a voice-hearer or person with lived experience & are looking to form a group? Let us know! We can help you advertise your group, find a space, a co-facilitator, materials, etc.
